You may earn credit for prior learning through credit-by-examination. The University of Indianapolis participates in three national credit-by-exam programs: CLEP (College Level Examination Program) and Excelsior College Exams (formerly Regents College exams), and DSST (DANTES Subject Standardized Test; http://www.getcollegecredit.com).

The university also offers school or departmental examinations for the purpose of granting credit.
